How is Akeff different than our competitors?
Akeff is a small, family owned business. We have operated for over 20 years with nothing but word of mouth to get work, with our attention for detail and quality of work speaking for themselves. We pride ourselves in making sure our clients, big or small are completely satisfied with whatever project it may be.
Do you have the right equipment for the job?
Yes! Akeff may be a small company but by no means does that mean we have small equipment, we have an extremely large range of specialty and non specialty equipment in our fleet that can help get your job done faster without compromising on quality.
Do you handle permitting?
Yes. Akeff is capable of working through the often complex requirements for obtaining permitting in the City of Fort Bragg, Mendocino County, as well as within the Coastal Zone. We also obviously can work with any permits that have been previously obtained by the homeowner or another general contractor.
DO YOU PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICE?
Yes, we often provide emergency repairs for local municipalities and water districts, day and night making sure you don't have interruptions in your essential services. We also provide emergency repairs for homeowners and local business owners. Keep in mind however, we have families and generally schedule multiple jobs in the same area to help lower costs, so emergency repairs, especially outside normal business hours will likely cost more than regularly scheduled maintenance or repairs.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes, we do provide free estimates, however any design build work may incur fees, as we generally have a full schedule and designing a project can take a substantial amount of time.
Do you provide financing options?
No, we generally do not offer financing but we can always point you in the right direction for a lender that may be willing to work with you. On occasion and depending on the project, we do finance the project ourselves but this is on a case by case basis and is not a commonly available service we provide.
Can you provide references?
Yes, Akeff has a long list of previous clients that are beyond satisfied with their project. We understand that excavation and paving can be expensive, and you want to make sure you make the right choice with your contractor.
